Continuing the recent trend of an Express Entry draw every two-week, the October 12, 2022, draw saw IRCC invite 4,250 applicants with a required CRS (points) score of 500. The draw was not program specific meaning it was open for all programs (CEC - Canadian Experience Class, FSW - Federal Skilled Worker, and FST - Federal Skilled Trades).
Since the Express Entry draws resumed in July 2022, the required points have come down significantly with the most recent draws requiring 510, 504 and now 500. Although we expect the draws to continue and points to drop, the number of applicants in the 451-500 points range is over 64,000 so the required points will begin to drop more slowly in this congested field.
